First we will explain what exactly Magento is. It is an open source electronic commerce platform, that is, Opensource, with which you can carry out all kinds of projects related to ecommerce. This allows you to build a custom site and have absolute control over the functionalities of the sales channel. In short, it is a platform that makes it easy for you to create your ecommerce with the best tools.

So, mainly, our team is dedicated to developing different ecommerce with the Magento platform, and today we are pleased to be able to conduct an interview with Francesc Guardiola about his day to day with Magento and we have taken the opportunity to ask for his opinion.

How is your day to day with Magento?

Mainly, listen to the needs of our customers, knowing what you need we can analyze if the Magento functionalities are adapted to the needs that are exposed to us or what functionalities the customer has to change, to have a win win between the client and the platform.

What tools would you recommend from Magento?

One of the key features that allows you to perform Magento is the promotion. It is multimedia and based on any attribute or combination of attributes in catalog management, which you cannot find on other competing platforms.

Could you give us an example of a project that web4commerce has done with Magento?

I could give you a few examples of projects carried out recently of B2B E-commerce that have been carried out with Magento as the company “Comercial Pous” or “SUPERMINOX” in which there is a very elaborate catalog management, attributes, rates and categories in which Magento has the technology and tools that adapt to their complex needs.
